Website privacy notice
Last updated: DRAFT, not yet reviewed by counsel. This notice covers this website only. The Asaph app will have its own privacy policy before the beta opens.
Who we are
This website is run by Asaph CCM, California, United States. Contact: privacy@asaphccm.app.
What we collect
- Beta sign-ups: your first name, email, date of birth, which describes you (listener, parent, artist or church leader), church name if you give it, the devices you'd use, and whether you want news emails.
- Artist interest form: artist name, your name, email, date of birth, and anything optional you choose to give us (location, a music link, church, rights status, a message).
- Security: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form is sent by a person, not a bot. Cloudflare processes technical data from your browser to do this.
- Visit counts: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without collecting your personal data.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, we don't sell or share your information for advertising, and the site contains no ad-tracking scripts.
Children
We ask for a date of birth on the sign-up forms. If it shows you're under 13, we don't save anything you entered, and we tell you to ask a parent to sign up; a small cookie stops the form from being sent again from that browser for a day. Teens 13 to 17 can sign up themselves. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13 on this website. If you believe a child has sent us information, email privacy@asaphccm.app and we'll delete it.
How we use it
Only to run the beta, contact artists about uploads, and, if you asked for it, send occasional news. Your date of birth tells us which kind of account you'd get in the app, since teen accounts work differently from adult ones. Every news email has an unsubscribe link.
Where it's kept, and for how long
Form entries are stored in a Cloudflare database in the United States, which only our team can access. We keep beta and artist sign-ups until the public launch, plus 12 months, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing privacy@asaphccm.app from the address you signed up with. California residents have these rights under California law, and we extend them to everyone.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date above.
