About
Named after a worship leader.
Asaph led worship in David's tabernacle and wrote twelve of the Psalms (Psalms 50 and 73 to 83). We named the app after him because it exists for the same thing: music that points to God.
What we're building
Asaph CCM is a music streaming app for Christian music only, for iPhone, Android, the web, Windows and Mac. It has two jobs:
- Give listeners, and especially parents, a catalog they can trust, with every song checked for explicit lyrics and explicit themes.
- Connect Christian artists, especially small and independent ones, with the listeners who are looking for them.
How songs are checked
Every song's lyrics are reviewed against a written content standard before it goes live. An AI does the first pass, and our team reviews anything it isn't sure about. We'll publish the standard before launch so you can see exactly what we look for.
Why we're building it
Christian families shouldn't have to screen every song themselves, and Christian artists, especially small ones, shouldn't get lost in a catalog of millions. Asaph is our answer to both: a place where the music is safe to share and the artists are easy to find.
The company
Asaph CCM is operated by Asaph CCM, based in California. Reach us at support@asaphccm.app.
